Whilst performing Flight NH919 from Tokyo Narita to Shanghai Pudong, the aircraft was climbing out of Narita runway 16R when a plastic part of the engine panel, (Thrust reverser close out panel) broke away from the engine. The part is approx. 30x16cm according to the Aviation Hearld. The aircraft continued to Shanghai without further issues. The aircraft was deemed as airworthy and the aircraft performed the return flight later that day.
