Whilst performing flight QR-180 from Oslo to Doha with 254 on board, the aircraft was on route at FL350 approx. 160nm Northwest of Bucharest, when the crew shutdown the number 1 engine and then declined any left hand turns. They diverted to Bucharest Otopeni Airport after dumping fuel and landed without further incident on runway 26L about 1 hour later.
